About Me / De Mwen
Hello! Bonjou! My name is Marlie. I’m an award-winning TV News Reporter and Anchor turned Voice Actor specializing in Haitian Creole Voice Overs. I speak fluent Haitian Creole or Kreyòl Ayisyen.
I’m a proud Haitian-American and you can hear that in my voice. My clients love that because it’s the new Haitian sound that both native speakers and American-born Haitians welcome and easily understand.
My voice has been featured in countless radio and TV commercials, public service announcements, e-learning and corporate trainings and even a cultural installation at a major museum. I have provided Haitian Creole voice overs for The City of New York, NYC Department of Health, Massachusetts Department of Transportation, Pero Family farms, Northwell Health, Humana, Medicare, Sanitas and the Boston Children’s Museum.
I’m connected to the Haitian community. That’s why I’m really passionate about bringing important information to the Haitian diaspora in a way they understand. In 2005, I produced an award-winning documentary about the healthcare crisis in Haiti called Mission to Sassier. In 2010, traveled to Haiti with NBC News to cover the aftermath of the country’s most devastating earthquake. I visit my family’s homeland frequently and currently sit on the board of the Haitian Women’s Alliance. And if you haven’t experienced Haitian cuisine, music and art… my friend, zanmi mwen… you don’t know what you’re missing.
But first things first. Let’s get your message out to the Haitian Community.
Let’s work together! Ann travay ansanm!
